The project was split up for awhile, between the 2009 album and the 2012 demo.[1]
After bringing the project back to life, Azazel decided to start referring to Suspiria Profundis as "Pure Spiritual Godsend Metal", both to reflect his problems with the unblack scene at that time, and to reflect a change in musical styles.
