Abbreviated "LAYATS".
Formed in 2014 as sort of a "spiritual successor" to an older experimental project I had, called "Of This Night", from 2009-2014. Only a handful of songs were ever released, but there were tons and tons of unused ideas for that project. Whether God wants me to reuse any those old ideas or not, one thing is for sure, I want to continue doing experimental music with this project.

This particular version was never released, but it was expanded a bit and released under Vibrant Life instead. I ditched the first track because part way into recording, I realized I'd accidentally / subconsciously ripped off the melody from another band. I thought about changing it but I couldn't think another melody that worked well so I just scrapped the whole thing. Maybe someday I'll find another use for the lyrics?
Update: I found a note saying which song the "black/noise + electronic influences" track was supposed to be. I've added the lyrics below. I'm pretty sure I never had anything solid written for it in terms of music, but I might reuse the lyrics for something else. The same note indicates there was also supposed to be a more "airy" song. That one is most likely referring to "Escape - My Only Passion" which, while noisy, has a fairly "airy" atmosphere.
