I released the first two things after the project had ended, in early 2015. Later in the year though, I decided to start it up again. However, after deciding the name "Reawaken the Congregation" was too "new-age" for my comfort, I decided to change the name, settling on Bozkath (a city in ancient Israel). I eventually changed the style of music, too. Future experimental/electronic stuff like this will instead be released under my experimental project Look Above You at the Sky.

The original photograph was taken by somebody else (can't remember who). It was edited, and the song was made, in late 2013. Most of my pre-2014 stuff was too "dark" for my comfort, so I deleted/destroyed most of it, but this song was acceptable, imo.

MY OBSERVATORY
BAND NAME: My Observatory
GENRE: Experimental / Field Recordings with Harsh Noise elements (early), with Dark Ambient elements (now)

Formed in April 2019.
The idea of this project is to portray a middle-ground between nature and civilization -- structures like old bridges that are man-made but reside outside of any cities or towns; the side of the road where plants grow, but man-made debris is also strewn about; a solitary hilltop at night where one can see city lights far off in the distance; even just watching things happen outside while sitting in your house; the atmosphere of things like this, is what I want to portray with this project. Without nature, one only gets the corrupted ways of mankind, lacking the beauty that lies outside of man's sinful, close-minded ways. However, without civilization, one misses the higher, divine calling written in the hearts of mankind, thus lacking direction and higher purpose. Many of Jesus' teachings were aimed at people who lived in civilized society, but Jesus also spent a lot of time in the wilderness. In ancient Israel, there were prophets who spoke in the cities, but there were also loners living in the desert, teaching whoever was interested in listening to them. I want to portray similar ideas through this project, both because I just find it interesting on an artistic/aesthetic level, and also because I see far too many people who make idols of nature or civilization in their lives (I was VERY guilty of this in the old days...) and I want to reach out to them (being careful, of course, not to inadvertently make another idol of the artistic ideas I'm presenting here, merely replacing one idol with another, but rather using these ideas as a tool to reflect the teachings of the Holy Trinity.)

The name is a combination of the words "Jesus" and "sword", a reference to Matthew 10:34.
This music stands on Christian principles, and stands in moral opposition to all occult "secret societies", many of which attempt to misuse symbolism, terminology, practices etc that rightfully belong to Christ, in order to give themselves a faux impression of divinity.

"Thematically focused on portraying Christianity through the less 'pleasant' aspects of nature. It's easy to talk about our Lord when looking at a mountain, or a lush forest, a powerful bird flying... but the world God created also has very 'mundane' things like thorny plants, underbrush, bugs, fallen trees, moss, and so on. All of this is God's creation as well, and although it may not inspire us artistically nearly as often as other things, they are all equally 'good' on a conceptual level, as mountains or lush forests."

Later, I decided to take those ideas to Goatblood (now Arboth Moab) instead. Later still, I wanted to start another harsh noise project, so I used this project for that.

Before I was saved, my mom had a dream that was something like "6 Six VI" altogether. To the layman this may seem like a random dream that merely happened to have 666 in it, but other life circumstances at the time indicate this was part of something bigger. One example of these other life things would include a pentagram that appeared on my hand. (You can read about that [here]). The idea of this is to "finish the story", so to speak. I am saved now. The evil number Six 6 VI has become a Christian number: Seven 7 VII.
