DARK SOULS (aka DARK SOUL)

NOTE: This page deals with an underground Christian metal band from the mid 2000s, and my attempts to dig up more information about them. This should NOT be confused with the video game series of the same name.

BAND NAME: Dark Souls (aka Dark Soul)
GENRE: "Black"[1] / "Progressive Black"[2]
STATUS: Unknown
LOCATION: Colombia

For some reason, they go by both "Dark Souls" and "Dark Soul".
Did they perhaps change their name at some point?

Lineup currently unknown.
However, it was a full band, not a one-man project, as confirmed by this Myspace comment:
Saludos desde tierras Colombianas, Gracias por Invitarnos a su grupo de amigos... Cuenten con nosotros como aliados para la horda que leventa sus aullidos proclamando el mensaje libertador, garras y colmillos listos para devorar a los falsos. ::. Dark Soul .::[3].

Discography:

Two tracks uploaded to Myspace (audio no longer works)
1) Batalla oscura 5:45
2) Luto (grabado en vivo sin edita) 1:42

Both of these songs are listed as being on something called "maqueta del demo", but I'm pretty sure that's not a real release. Further discography currently unknown.

I did find [two] [videos] of a band called "Dark Soul", but I'm currently unsure if this is the same band or not.

A bunch of info is still missing, and the images here are all pretty low-quality. If you happen to have anything that's not here yet, please let me know in a comment, or an email: IMPERIALKODNAROK [at] GMAIL [dot] COM. Thank you!

Events the band has played at:

 .....................................................

Left: Legion Death on 17 December, 2006
Middle: Dikaion Fest on 1-3 November, 2007.
Right: Low Metal Fest 4 on 1 February, 2009.

For some reason I found two different posters for "Low Metal Fest 4" so I added both.
