ABSUM

NOTE: This page is for a drone / metal band from Italy. Not to be confused with various other bands also named Absum! Myspace, ever the catastrophic failure, even mistakenly auto-added [this unrelated electronic band]'s song to Absum's page.

LOCATION: Italy (Lodi, Lombardia)

Christian in its very early days.[1]
As far as I'm aware, all releases after 2008 are secular, but I'm not totally sure.

All of the words in Absum's album and song titles are Italian, written backwards. Only the words themselves are backwards, not entire phrases. (For example, "led oicsnocbus" is "del subconscio", not "subconscio del".)

Apparently [had merch for sale] on Holy Night Clothing, but it's worth noting that that brand also worked with a few secular bands. (Shadowolf is one example.)

The word "absum" is Latin and means something like "to be absent from", "to be away / distant", etc.
