Animae Capronii became a Christian project near the end of 2008, and several more albums were released. However in 2015, Cesare decided to change the name of the project, and change the style of music, to give the project a fresh start, and fully separate from his previous beliefs under the old project names. Trust Your Heart is an entirely Christian project, and varies more in terms of style, taking influences from unblack metal, viking metal, heavy/power metal, and more.
Originally, Cesare referred to the style of this project as "Unpagan Unblack Metal". Then, he decided to call it "Christian Heavy Metal", as the black metal influences in his albums began to waver more. From around 2019 onward, the lyrics focus more on Christian themes in poetic / romanticist / fantasy settings.

Cyril is my name
I'm just a humble monk
Christian missionary priest
sent to convert the pagan lands.
From the italic peninsula
we started our mission
we were only few
guided by the Christian Faith.
Long and hard was the journey
we travelled without protection
No soldiers to watch our back
Only God to guide our steps.
Snowy mountains we have reached
in the extreme north-east
suddenly attacked we were
ambushed by tartarian raiders.
Some of us were taken prisoners
many of us lost their lives
we escaped pursued by the enemies
until we met a company of warriors.
They were men from the north
they defeated our persecutors
their leader offered to protect us
Beowulf was, prince of Geats.
2) Beowulf the Prince

Beowulf was our saviour's name
Blue blood runs through his veins
He was a noble prince of Geats
Heading to help his father's friend.
Sovereign Hrothgar, the danish king
desperately asked his help
to protect his feeble kingdom
from the creatures of the dark.
Wendigos they were called
a population of pagan warriors
Half-men & half-beasts
They terrorize the whole Denmark.
They are headed by a witch
from the fog they appears.
Beowulf men were not many
but their hearts were so strong
we converted 'em to Jesus Christ
now they praise The only God.
We restarted our road together
going ahead to Hrothgar's court
we don't know what to expect
but we're guided by The Lord.
3) Grendel the Ork
4:09, lyrics:
After days of endless march
walking frozen nordland pathways
we have reached Hrothgar's castle
royal palace of Heorot.
We've found great desolation
and the king was sad & silent
he has lost so many men
during a creature's night attack.
He's the dweller of deep abyss
So ferocious like an ork
He was two or three meters tall
the wendigos call him Grendel.
In the night we mounted guard
to defeat this evil threath
from the darkness Grendel came
killing many of our men
I was scared by great fear
and the king was scared too
but prince Beowulf was so brave
facing Grendel hand-to-hand.
With his fellows he blocked the ork
and ripped off his arm
Grendel fled away in pain
and he will never returned.
4) Witch Mother
3:37, lyrics:
The day after was a feast
in the royal Heorot's palace
Beowulf was brought in prison
by king Hrothgar and his court
after all-day long festivity
veil of night embraced the land
all the people went to sleep
except me and the other monks
suddenly we heard a noise
during the midnight's oration
a female creature crushed the gate
she was the orkish Grendel's mother.
We just flee away in fear
Hrothgar's knights suddely awakes
they tried to fight her back
but they found a terrible end.
King himself attacked the witch
his blows absorbed by her hard skin
he was wounded to the death
and fell down on castle's floor.
Beowulf came with all his men
with their armours and their swords
but it was just too late
Grendel's mother fled away.
5) Descent into Abyss
4:12, lyrics:
In the cloudy morning rain
Hrothgar's funeral was celebrated.
On a mighty dragonship
his great pyre was set ablaze.
Beowulf planned his revenge
to set free the danish lands
all alone he walked to
Grendel's mother abyss cave.
It was near a watery swamp
prudently Beowulf descended
with his weapon in the hand
ready to face the terrible threat.
He found Grendel and his mother
feasting on dead human flesh
immediately attacked both the monsters
but they're too tough for his blade.
In an angle of the cave
during the fight he picked up a sword
magical weapon of warriors unknown
finally killed both his enemies.
He decapitated the two creatures
brought their heads as a trophy
Beowulf returned to Heorot's castle
and was celebrated as new king.
6) Lindworm the Fire Dragon
3:38, lyrics:
After becoming the danish king
Beowulf gathered all his army
made an abundance at the feet
of wendigo's foggy mountains
a great conflict was fought
all the pagans were defeated
new dawn rose for these lands
bright new kingdom was just born.
After fifty years of peace
a new curse blackened the skies:
The great lindworm was awakened
and terrorized the village's around.
Our king Beowulf knew what to do.
For last time he asked my blessing
took his armour, shield and sword
rode alone against the dragon.
Final battle was on the hills
in a clash of fire & steel
evil serpent lifelessly fell
and took the brave king with himself.

For an unforgivable mistake
Now he rose from shadow realm
By the grace of The Lord
He awakens in a forest
Dressed with a shining armour
His sword always by his side
Asking himself where he is
Slowly waking from the woods

3) Meeting in the Forest

A great light rose from the woods
An apparition to Sir Gareth
He was an Angel of the Lord
Holy Messenger of God
THE ANGEL:
"A peaceful village you have to free
from the servants of the beast.
Their dark master you must defeat
to deliver them from evil".
Gareth kneel in front of the Angel
He sworn he will fulfill this task
Then the vision disappears
Our hero reprised the forest's path.
Soon he reached a small house
A simple man he saw nearby
Taking water from a stone pit
With surprise he recognized
Percival, his old companion:
PERCIVAL:
"Sir Gareth, my dear friend
I thought you died long time ago.
I retired myself here
to serve The Lord in a humble way".
SIR GARETH:
"I'm returned to life,
Its a miracle of God.
I'm here to free a village from pagan warriors.
Follow and help me my friend,
Together we cannot be defeated".
4) Fighting Together

Recover your sword and armour,
We have a village to free
From a pagan barbarian tribe".
PERCIVAL:

The pagans recognized their valour.
They defeated all the guards

A figure in a black cloak appears
He was their master, pagan warlock.
5) The Warlock

A warlock was the evil tyrant
Master of the pagan tribe
He subjugated the whole village
Rising a four-faced wooden idol.
Our two heroes challenged him
The first was Sir Gareth.
He fought with all his courage
But was disarmed by warlock's hammer.
The second was Percival
With his simple wooden mace
He said a prayer before to fight
Ignoring the evil warlock's chants.
He seems to fall under warlock's blows
But God listen to his prays
And his enemy was defeated
With a single strike to his head.

Cutted was the wooden idol
Of four-faced god sventovith.
Pagan warriors were converted
And so the warlock, leader of their tribe.
They become friends and lived together

They spent good times together

Our heroes said farewell
To their new dear friends.

With his presence he spread sin

Which turned themselves into horrible creatures

Anthorn himself went to fight him

4) Through Foggy Mountains

That indicates the path to follow
From the Turanor's foggy mountains
To the old town of Morbain
Here seems that the demon Gomory
Incarnated into a human body
Rule his terrible army

He descend down from the shelter

Frozen,cold and now haunted
By hidden werewolves and fierce ghouls

On the plains at Morbain's gates
Sleepwalking vampires he saw in the mist.
They seems to point at him
Feeling his smell with fire burning eyes
They were the former people of the town
Corrupted by sin, spread by the demon.
Kalrog tried to fight 'em with the sword,
But inefficient it was against these ghouls.
He took repair behind his shield,
Against their maleficent bloody bites.
Then he found his Holy Cross,
He take it off from his neck,
Point it in front of the vampires
And they flee away in fear.
He continued to pursue his road
Now free from these freaky monsters,
So he arrived to the town's gates,
And entered the haunted city.
6) Scary Haunted City
4:06, lyrics:
At the light of an eclipsed frostmoon
The sight of the city was so scary
Old people running and screaming
Pursued by their relatives turned into zombies.
Fire and flames of burned houses
The main Church turned into an unholy sanctuary
Some few brave warriors tried to resist
Fighting ghastly armoured guards.
Kalrog helped 'em to defeat their enemies,
But soon evil floating spectres appears
And killed 'em with dreadful fireballs.
Our knight flee away from them,
Keeping them distant with his Cross,
Informations he should find
To seek and defeat Gomory incarnated.
He open his way fighting with the sword
Trying to protect the innocent men
Of this scary haunted city
Now turned into a burning battlefield.
7) From the Marshlands to Cosium
3:39, lyrics:
A dying man was on the ground
But he seems still alive
He cried for help to our hero
And so Kalrog reached him.
He told our knight before to die
That the demon left Morbain
Incarnated into the body
Of a once proud warrior monk.
The man told that Gomory went
To the marshlands of the east
To the old town of Cosium
Then the man took his last breath
And kalrog escaped the cursed city
Starting his journey through the swamps
Into the marshlands of the east.
A perilous quest it was
Into the muddy awful path
Spectral murmurs all around
Evil presences in the air.
Then our hero reached the town
Old, abandoned and so dark,
No one seems to be around,
Kalrog walked the main road.
8) A Sinister Figure
4:10, lyrics:
Wet grass and dying trees
Stone houses abandoned in time
A ghastly fog float on the ground
A spectral green light all around.
Mysterious whispers from nowhere,
A dark silhouette suddenly appears
Behind skeletric twisted branches,
A black figure with burning eyes.
Kalrog screams his battlecry,
And told his enemy to face him,
The figure slowly moved so close,
An awful surprise for our proud knight
Evil smile on his face
The demon laughs and called his name:
What a bad joke of destiny,
Gomory incarnated in Kalrog's Mentor!
Anthorn was in front of him,
Or what remained of his dear friend,
Only a corrupted shape,
Now possessed by this menace...
... a sinister figure.
9) In the Abandoned Town
5:05, lyrics:
How could a man pure in his heart
Being turned into a such monster??
The demon answered Kalrog's question:
In solitude, lust was his weakness:
Anthorn himself summoned Gomory
From an ancient book of spell
That he found on a dusty shelf
From an old castle's ruins.
His loneliness let him fall to sin,
He was submissed by temptation
Summoning a female seductive demon,
Ruining his life, condemning the land.
Kalrog cried but there's nothing to do,
He cannot believe in what happened,
He challenged the demon with his sword
But it was crushed by his enemy.
He fell on the ground with his armour wrecked,
He was pierced by the demon's spear,
He felt death so close to him,
And temptation whispered in his ears.
He resisted to the devil's words,
Praying salvation to the Almighty God:
A light from the sky:
A lightning strikes,
And Gomory dies, reduced to dust.
