INFLAMED

BAND NAME: Inflamed
GENRE: Melodic / Symphonic Unblack Metal with Death Metal Influences
STATUS: Active
LOCATION: Brazil (Agudos, São Paulo)

The name "Inflamed" is taken from a song on Mortification's "Scrolls of the Megilloth".

Formed in July, 2018, after Pedro became a born-again Christian, leaving behind his secular band named "Sanguinosa". The first Inflamed album is effectively what Sanguinosa's debut was going to be, but reworked, and with new lyrics. While Inflamed is a Christian project, he doesn't consider it to be a project "for Christians", but rather, one that calls out and denounces evil, reaching out to people who are following occult paths.

1) Carnicide
6:50, lyrics:
In my fugue from Babylon
Seduced with her, I fell
But while I drunk her entrance wine
She lit the pyres of Hell

A harlot in Biblical scale was born
And claimed my meed feeding me in her latrine
With my own soul

Abhorrent - her name
Since those ancient days
Till her burial
Declaiming epitaphs
Through mouths like open graves
Knifed by her taste
My crimes made me a guilty fleuryan
But before God Himself
My spirit was required

I fell alone amidst the myriads on earth
Feeling the yoke of scorn demonizing my intentions
I was betrayed by maledictions of her words
When in my chest, they found plowed soul for their putrid seeds

The second night to fall
Is always darker than the first
In that I was the plague
Surviving to infect the herd

But once the poison was distilled
My viscera squirmed for first

And the most I evoked the devourer
Was the most I was the devoured

Eyes did not see
And ears did not hear what I did
Gomorrah did not dare to utter half her blasphemy
And then He came, a sun to blind one more Tarsian
His voice like many waters mercifully drowning my sin

Therein the serpent's tongue
Was silenced forever
For that was not able
To sound above the Lion's roaring
To hounds He has given
What remained of her in my atria
Thus from Heaven above to Midian's gates
All knew that she was gone!

The lit pyres consumed themselves to coal
There was celebration, and in that day, no saint was burnt for her

Sit on the ground without a throne, oh daughter of the Chaldeans
For thou shall no more be called tender and delicate, Babylon!

He reaped her cruelty like acres of atrocities
And fed the supplicating heralds beyond their dead queen

I would perish enamoured with her malady
But from her bed of filthiness, I escaped to be redeemed

Tremble before His presence
Imparadised sons in sin
Contemplate His majesty

1) Tabernacling on Sulphur
5:27, lyrics:
Eat from the Lamb
Drink from His wine
Vomit it and eat back your filth

Promulgate scourge
For the heretic
Bragging at the stake
Impaling your own chest

Sacrifical smoke
But no Passover is planned

Unleash the calf
From the poniard
Slain the Samaritan instead

Let him to bleed
Through the arcades
To the Holy of Holies' veil

Be him our scapegoat
Our we've sinned well
As Abraham has shown us

And when the east coming kings
Offer their tributes
We shall desire their gold
Further than the Grace made flesh

We
A pantheon of salt idols
Exposed as sovereigns
On the canopy above the King

A purulent clergy cradled
By the same hands
That violated angels' maidenhead

Freeing our souls
From disfigured faith
We would marvel
One step from the abyss away

Not adoring God
But piling our wealths
To become like bruises
On the Messiah's ribs

In a Rosh Chodesh wrought
By the rustling of the censer
And the sputtering of the Menorah
That the priests of Cham
Handled with such disdain

How could that not be
Worse than the ninth day of the Av?

How could we fight them
And keep being foetuses
Suckling the pus leaked from the teats
That they baptized as "Tithe"?

Now eat from a rotten lamb
Taste the miracles
Made by its worms

Oh
Shall we, fool and mad
Suppose that we have sinned?
Shall the truth bleed
Our endless arrogance
And shake the sumptuous pillars
That we have raised
To keep our linen tunics
Above the pleb's stench?

May El Shaddai
May the Living God
Be late on bringing the Day
When He shall spew us out
From His presence
We, sacrificers and offerors of ashimas

We...
Tabernacling on sulphur

Moabites, sons of Loth
Servants of Chemosh
Who are we to commune
With the martyrs at the halls of Lord?

Yet, we will not commune above them
