Bedeiah - "Man of Sorrows" description / information

The info that F. A. Monje wrote for the Man of Sorrows EP. This was too long to fit on Bedeiah's main page, but I wanted to make sure it was available on this site anyway. I myself, Nocturnal Iridescence, frequently deal with depression, and have dealt with suicidal thoughts in my life. I genuinely hope and pray that by including this text here, this message of the Gospel may be like a hand, reaching into the darkness of somebody's life. There is hope, and God truly loves you. Even if you may not feel it sometimes; even if you may not feel it right now, as you are reading this: God truly loves you.

This EP is an evangelistic anti-depressive suicidal black metal outreach. The objective of this release is to share the gospel and God's love with those who are suffering from depression and might be contemplating suicide. A deep depression can insinuate its presence and become a terror to ones mental and emotional peace.
It can be from loneliness, rejection, abandonment and so forth. Living with depression while trying to cling to happiness and life can feel like you're holding a dead infant; You know the child is not alive, but you still want to embrace it and sing lullabies. And in that despair, because of our sin depravity, we are inclined to chase every vanity the world has to offer, until suicide seems like the only solution, which is were Satan wants you.
In the world we will find temporary peace, but as Solomon states throughout the book of Ecclesiastes, it's all empty and vain. Living for self and the world will lead you further into emptiness and sorrow, because the person we owe our existence to is not who we see in the mirror.
There is more to life than what our eyes see and there is a real loving God who has a purpose for your life.

"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him" -Colossians 1:16

This same God doesn't want a Sunday morning fix of religion, He wants you to know him and have a true loving relationship with him.

"The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit." -Psalm 34:18

ONE WAY.

WE ALL HAVE SINNED.

THE COST OF SIN.

YOU CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF.

GOD'S LOVE PROVIDED A WAY.

PLACE YOUR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST.
