UNEVIL HOPES

BAND NAME: Unevil Hopes
GENRE: Dark Ambient / Experimental / Unblack Ambient
STATUS: Unknown
LOCATION: Russia (St. Petersburg)

Formed in 1998.

Andreas from VIXIVI described this band thus in an interview:
"Yes, Unevil Hopes is for sure a Christian band, that plays piano symphonies in the sound of unblack-metal. Using mostly the piano, synths and his shrill vocals as the only instruments in his music. When you hear his music, it`s like you wonder: "What`s this? Never heard anything like that in my whole life!", and that may be true. But the true is, that Unevil Hopes serves one of the better music arts in a long time. Willing to try new and original ways in creating music, and that`s great!!! I was hooked at once the first time I heard it. I think Unevil Hopes is a great band, and that he may be one of the forrunners in his newcreated music style!!!"

Some extra information is available about this demo on Unevil Hopes' old website. Note, these aren't lyrics to the songs. Just extra information about the motivations behind the songs, and what Uncovered wanted to convey with them.

1) Intro.
This is a starting point of this demo introducing it to you. It is showing you the beginning of a new human life. But it is not just a birth of a child, and a start of life which was given to everyone of us by our parents and by god. It is quick look into the future of this child. With all possible bad and good deeds, happy moments and moments of deep sorrow. This vision is very short one. Soon it will fade away like a flash produced by a match. And a real life will start crushing the darkness surrounding it, with the light from within given to it by god.
 2) Extreme Thoughts
In our thoughts we should be extreme, otherwise evil would get into us. We cannot allow our souls being weak.
3) Human Life.
Evil shall fall. Good shall remain. God gave us our lives, so we have to live them as it needed, to reach for paradise in our afterlife. Unfortunately life is not easy, but we have to stand all the difficulties and to live, as it was tell to us by our God.
4) Two Sides of War. (Part1 “The First Side.”)
Early in the morning. The troops are marching on the battlefield. Officers  are  giving orders. The massacre is about to begin.
5) Two Sides of War. (Part2 “The Second Side.”)
War is ugly. War is evil. It is evil in itself. All you can see on the battlefield is the endless dark and endless death.
6) As the Light Crushed the Darkness.
The conflict is still going on, but we know the light will win in the end! And this must encourage us to live on!!! So here is it the endless battle, the end is near you can almost see it! The blaze of life is now achieved!!!
7) Outro.
This is just an outro. You never know what will be next and if it already here. Just believe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much for providing this! I've added Unevil Hopes' track number (and title) to the page now.

Typically I don't add the full tracklist for compilations - only the tracks that the band in question played (so for Unevil Hopes, I'll only add track 16). But since the tracklist isn't available anywhere else online, I'll see if there's something else I can do with the rest of this information. Like, somewhere else I can put it, so people can find it. Thanks again for leaving all these comments! :)
