R.I.P.
Jedediah of Gøatherdr

Died sometime between 30 December, 2020 and 1 January, 2021.
If they figured out a cause, I don't know about it yet.

While Gøatherdr never went too far (in fact, I'm not sure if they're even still active), they, and Jedediah in particular, were crucial to the unblack scene over these past few years. Particularly on Facebook, but other places too. For example, he did live guitars for Deborah and Exousia in 2019.

Jedediah helped many of us "outcasts" and "weirdos" feel less alone in this world. For example, the five or so people who read my final post here know that I didn't fit in the disturbingly common conservative vs. liberal dichotomy in this political spectrum, and Jedediah felt the same way. It was great having him there and also providing additional information. While you might not have agreed with every single belief he ever had (I didn't), his motivation was always pure and true to the mission of the Gospel - to share truth, and to expose and fight injustice in this world. Battling the principalities of this world.

Any non-Christians and even anti-Christian people who knew of Jedediah still, I'm certain, had to have some level of respect for him. His dedication to "black metal" overall was very clearly woven into his entire character. He was more of a trve black metaller than most of the people who hate "unblack", combined.

It's such a shame that he was taken so early and so young. Still, God is sovereign, so I'm sure there's some kind of reason for this that will be made known in time - if not here on earth, then in heaven.
Just... man.
