BLOOD AND HONOR

Thanks to Andrés for his help in updating these 2 pages!

BAND NAME: Blood and Honor
GENRE: Lo-fi Unblack Metal
STATUS: Split-up
LOCATION: Argentina (San Juan)

Previously known as Luz del mundo. Please see that page for a full explanation.

Basically, Andrés used to practice theistic Satanism. Satan would later betray his trust, and attempt to harm Andrés' girlfriend. Sometime thereafter, he made a friend who was into Christian metal. Shortly after Andrés, himself, returned to Christ, and started up his own unblack project. The songs on the EP below are instrumental tracks that Andrés found online. He then recorded vocals over the songs. The aim of these early demo songs was to get ideas out there, and eventually find other people to start a full band. He couldn't find anyone who was interested though, so he ended the project in 2013.

There's also this video but I'm not currently sure if it's official or not.

The lyrics were improvised, and were not written down anywhere. The basic ideas of each song are written below:
"No tengas miedo" is about encouraging Christians, in the face of martyrdom; reminding them they always have the Lord's protection.
"Salvo mi vida" is Andés' testimony of his conversion to Christ, written in a somewhat abstract manner.
"Las intenciones..." is a song calling out a certain band that, at the time, was behaving in a very arrogant and non-Christlike way.
"Padre nuestro" is a song describing and explaining the Lord's Prayer.
"La corona de Yahshúa" is basically an account of Jesus' life.
Tracks 4 and 7, "Tomado..." and "Ven a la eternidad" are just covers of songs that Andrés likes.

1) No tengas miedo 2:20
2) Salvo mi vida 5:02
3) Las intenciones de tu corazón 4:41
4) Tomado de la oscuridad a la luz (Hilastherion cover) 5:08
5) Padre nuestro 4:32
6) La corona de Yahshúa 5:02
7) Ven a la eternidad (Logos cover) 4:35
