Formed in 2008. The first rehearsal was on 11 August, 2008, but the band formed slightly before then. In reply to a comment someone wrote on Facebook in 2018, Oskord announced they had split up at some point. According to Metal Archives, the split happened in 2014, but I'm not sure where they got that information.
An "oskord" / "оскорд" is an old Slavic weapon that is, more or less, an ax with a long handle.

Прагни Господа волі,
Переможеш в війні!
Сильний в соромі згине,
Бог слабкого обрав.
Грізне військо вороже,
В нашу руку віддав.
І був собі юнак, пастух, ім’я йому Давид,
Отару захищав як нападав лев чи ведмідь.
«Із Голіятом я зустрінусь в битві сам на сам!»
І цар сказав: «Іди, Господь з Тобою буде там»
Із пращею пішов юнак на велетня у бій,
Як вдарив у чоло, то воїн випустив дух свій.
І голову мечем він мертвому бійцю відтяв.
Так Бог всіх ворогів у руки праведні віддав.

Йде пустелею Божий народ,
В обіцяну землю прямує.
Та нарікання у серці його
Хто людям спрагу вгамує?
На обличчя Мойсей упав
І Господній голос в славі пролунав:
«Скажеш скелі – потече вода
І вгамує спрагу змучена душа.
Води Меріви хай нагадають
Тим хто надію на Бога складають.
Воду живу Він дарує тому,
Хто довіряє всім серцем Йому.

Божого гніву прояву пізнають.
І запитав ся народу пророк
Звідки їм вивести воду.
Вдарив – роздалася скеля – і от –
Води потоками сходять.
Та не ввійде Мойсей у край
Що Господь народу обіцяв.

Промовляв той народ проти Моісея:

Зміїв на народ.
І невір’я стало пасткою для них.

Гинув рід людський.
В покарання за їх неспокутий гріх.
В час нужденний, смертну пору,
Підведи свій погляд вгору.
Може Бог тебе спасти,
Від смерті зберегти.
Віра твоя смерть здолає,
Коли виходу немає.
Свої очі підійми,
Прощення попроси.
І прийшов той народ мовити до Бога,
Зрозумів що згрішив важко проти Нього.
Помолись Моісей, щоб Бог допоміг нам,
Забрав зміїв, простив всім нашим провинам.

Щоб Мойсей зробив.
Змія мідяного, встановив його.
Щоб той позирнув,
Вжалений хто був.
І не втратить від отрути він життя свого.

Strong die in shame, / God chose the weak.

And there was a boy, the shepherd, his name was David,
Flock defended as a lion or a bear attacked.
“I’ll meet with Goliath in the battle alone!”
And the king said: “Go, the Lord be with you there”.
With sling the boy went to the Giant in battle,
As smote in his forehead, then warrior lost his spirit.
And the head with the sword he cut off the dead fighter.
So God all the enemies in the hands of the righteous delivered.
