ORDINANCE

[logo not available]

BAND NAME: Ordinance
GENRE: "Death Metal with Goth/Doom Elements" / "Pure Unblackmetal" / ???
STATUS: Changed name
(Split-up under new name, Death Poems)
LOCATION: Brazil (São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo)

Nearly all sources indicate they played death metal with some gothic influence, but [this interview] states they played black metal. Perhaps they started as one, and then changed styles later on? Also, according to that same interview, Undarkgoat met Leviticum online as a result of divine action; Undarkgoat was praying for a drummer when it happened.

Formed after the split of Peacemaker, a death metal band that some of the members belonged to.

Despite what some sources say, they actually formed in February, not October, 1998. See [this page] (aqui em português). This can be proven because they were working on their album in April. They changed their name in August of that same year.

They played some Peacemaker songs, and also some Ordinance songs, at "Big Stream Rock Fest" in São Paulo, in October 1998.[1]

Evandro "Undarkgoat" Sudré - Unknown
