Formed in 1994 as Beheadoth. Changed name to Horde the same year. Sometime before July 1999, the project had ended. Horde has played a few concerts over the years, but to my knowledge, the project never actually "became active" again -- at the time of writing, Horde is still split up.
Originally rumored to be from Norway, back when the project was still anonymous.
It seems that a couple places referred to this project as "The Horde". This is just a small error that a few people made -- the project never actually went by this name.
Supposedly, Jayson was briefly planning to write another CD -- whether this was true or not, I don't know. But either way, Horde only ever released one studio album, and one live album.

This is a strange one.
As the cover art implies, this is an EP by secular band Katatonia. As seen on Metal Archives, there are at least six versions of this EP. However, on this one particular version, the EP has become a split -- some tracks from other bands were added onto the end by the label, for promotion purposes. One of these bands was Horde. So it is, thanks to bizarre label practices, we warmly welcome Katatonia to Unblack Archives!
