BAND NAME: Wrathful Plague

Formed in December, 2005.
Nostaun has made conflicting claims over the years.
1) Somewhere or other, he apparently told someone that he was a Christian, but the band had no theological/religious themes.
2) In an interview from 2006, he said very unambiguously, "Yes Wrathful Plague is an openly Christian band and the lyrical content revolves around the harsh persecution many Christians have endured throughout history and even in present day areas where Christianity is outlawed", and (regarding the first demo), "Lyrically they mostly deal with the persecution Christians endure and the forthcoming wrath that shall be eternally poured down upon the pawns on Satan who instigate such persecution."
3) On Metal Archives in 2007, he said that he and Wrathful Plague were never Christian at all, and the debut only had some references to it because of "naivety" or something.
4) He said regarding the "Bitter Forest Winds" album that it "marks [. . .] a breakaway from any controversial 'religious' ideologies that were contained in past WRATHFUL PLAGUE albums."
5) He then said on the old Blackened Hymns forums (this would have been around 2014, several years after claiming he was never Christian), that he was in fact a Christian, but also had some strange beliefs mixed in. Also, he mentioned that the photo on Metal Archives does not feature an inverted cross, as it appears. It's actually part of a right-side-up cross, but you can't see it because the room had bad lighting.
..... Meanwhile, somebody else (presumably wanting to stay anonymous?) has personally confirmed to me that the albums listed on this page (2006-2007) are Christian. Whether the band still identifies as such, I have no idea.
