TRASTORNO

NOTE: This band's name is occasionally misspelled as "Transtorno". The correct spelling is "Trastorno"!

BAND NAME: Trastorno
GENRE: Unblack Metal
STATUS: Active
LOCATION: Venezuela (Cabimas / Zulia)

Formed in 2007 according to Metal Archives, in 2005 according to Undark.net, and in 2003 according to their old Myspace. Not sure which is correct. Either way, it seems they took a few years' break sometime after 2010, but are now active again.

About the name, the band states in [an interview]:
"The Spanish word “trastorno” can be translated as some kind of disruption or disturbance. Something like this occurs in the book of Acts 17:6 when Paul and Silas began to give testimony of Jesus as the Messiah to the Jews. They greatly disrupted an otherwise peaceful gathering with the Word of Truth. We chose the name Trastorno because we believe to be called to spiritually disrupt this world with the Word of God to bring about change which equates to salvation."

Lineup:
Samuel "Esgaroth" Hernandez - Vocals, Guitars
Leobaldo "Noldor" Luquez - Drums
A third member was added in 2014, name/role unknown

Past members:
Deuteronomium - Bass
Anonimo - Bass

Evil, Nothing (EP)

Top left:
2007, Eirene Records, CD-R
Top right:
February, 2008, label uncertain, Digital / Undark.net, link expired
Bottom:
NOT SURE IF RELEASED, Warriors Records, Cassette, 33 copies
Not sure which art was used:
??????????????, CD (or CD-R?), Eternal Records

Trastorno announced the Undark.net version as being "available now" in Myspace comments on 9 February, 2008, so it would have logically been released either on that day, or within a few days before that.

Also, I'm not sure if the digital version was released on Undark.net, or if it was released independently, and just distributed by Undark.net.

Metal Archives has a note, "Originally an online download but they finally released it on Eirene Records"... Was there another digital version before the Eirene release? Or, perhaps, do we have the wrong release year for the Eirene version, and Undark.net is actually the "online download" in question?

NOTE: I just noticed the CD picture above has "Eternal Records" written on it... Anyone have info about this (apparent) re-release? All I know is, it would have been released before 7 April, 2011. To avoid confusion, I will try to have proper scans of the Eirene version soon.

Tetragramaton (album, UPCOMING, Vision of God Records)
Format unknown

I'm not sure if this is a re-release of one of the above releases also with "Tetragramaton" in their name, or if this is something else?... It's mentioned on Facebook, alongside imagery that's very similar, but not entirely identical, to the "III" artwork above. I have no idea about any of this.

INFO:
Basically, NO INFO here is set in stone. It's very difficult to find information about this band... Most of this was just copied from Metal Archives. Not only is information missing (track lengths, lyrics, formats, etc) but much of it is uncertain as well.
IMAGES:
Basically every image here could use a higher-res, higher-quality version.
